- I think Schildt has some talent - he clearly has a writing style that many
- people like. He just never learnt C in adequate depth to write a book on
- it. "C the Complete reference" covers topics other than the C language
- itself and he seems competent enough on most of those.

- There was a C programming series in UK Computer Shopper a year or 2 back
- which made Scildt's books look positively accurate. :-) or should I :-(
- It was like distilling all the language related misconceptions found in
- comp.lang.c together.
